Position Summary

The University of Indianapolis School of Nursing seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position with rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position will begin August 2012.

Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching within the applicant s content area of expertise in the undergraduate program. Potential teaching opportunities in the graduate nursing program are dependent upon the applicant s qualifications. Service to the School of Nursing, the University, and the community, as well as participation in scholarly activities and academic advisement, are required.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)

A master s degree in nursing is required; doctoral degree preferred. Academic teaching experience in a school of nursing with a minimum of three years of clinical experience in medical surgical nursing are required. Applicants must provide proof of an unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Indiana.
