Jobing Description

Invest in Indiana's future. Teach elementary special education.

The Challenge: Nearly half of all 3rd grade and more than 70% of 5th grade students receiving special education services did not pass the ISTEP+ reading exam in 2011.

The Opportunity: Become a high-impact teacher through ITF and provide Indiana's students with a quality foundation in reading and language arts. Research shows that effective teachers can accelerate student learning and close the achievement gap, regardless of other school-based factors.
