Job: COORDINATOR-PAYROLL SYSTEMS PROJECTS

Jobing Description

This position exists to be actively involved in and when necessary oversee the selection, configuration, creation, installation, implementation, and ongoing utilization of automated systems to meet the requirements of processing and reporting the organization Health Payroll data via Lawson Payroll System (and sub-systems). Is responsible for the day-to-day assurance of integrity, security, and availability of payroll data, business processes, systems, and sub-systems used in the processing and reporting of payroll data. This effort requires continual communication (with the HR System team, IS support, Financial Services Group, and other teams), maintenance of data standards, and thorough and detailed documentation of process or report changes. This position requires the ability to assess a situation from a global perspective, determine the impact both to the institution and the individual employee, and eventually operationalize the change, minimizing impact on both the employees and payroll staff. This position will also have the responsibility of identifying and implementing improvements in processes and procedures related to payroll processing and data reporting.

* Requires ability to apply previous systems experience to the needs of the user.
* Requires experience in Computer Technology or Computer Science.
* Requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Requires ability to maintain confidential communication and use judgment and discretion.
* Requires an understanding of the information management principles; architecture and technologies adopted by the organization (including Lawson Payroll/HR and Kronos Timekeeping) Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives and timelines.
* Requires analytical capabilities and business exposure.
* Requires ability to learn new software systems and apply that knowledge successfully.
