The Art Institute of Indianapolis, located at the Pyramids, fills a unique niche. We provide post-secondary education to students seeking Associate s and Bachelor s degrees leading to careers in graphic design, animation, fashion, interior design, web design, digital photography, and culinary arts.

We are currently seeking part time/ adjunct Photography instructors teach in the Fall of 2012. This individual will teach Lightroom and Photoshop for photography to our Photography students. This opportunity requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding conflict resolution skills. Time management skills. Computer based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills). And of course, Lightroom and Photoshop expertise.

To be considered for an instructor position, the following qualifications are required:

Masters degree in a related field strongly preferred. A Bachelors degree and significant industry experience may be considered.

A minimum of 3 or more years industry experience

The desire to coach and mentor aspiring professionals

Strong interpersonal skills

The ability to act effectively as a team member

*

Teaching experience is preferred.

Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred.
