Description

The Director of Customer Service is responsible for leading the sales and marketing initiatives for Customer Service for Veolia Water North America and reports to the EVP of Sales.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- Interacts with the Technical Department and with Operations to express market expectations for shaping the technical content of the customer service offer

- Analyzes and segments the market, to increase our knowledge of the market and focus on sales as well as the product line offer

- Elaborates on the marketing materials to sell and promote the VWNA customer service offer

- Promotes internally among the Business Development group and the Operations function the Customer Service offer

- Supports sales offers that require customer service features, including customer presentations, due diligence, pricing and proposal writing

- Helps shape the organization to deliver the Customer Service offer

- Manages and monitors the delivery of the Customer Service offer, including participation in and/or management of transition efforts for new projects that include a Customer Service component

Qualifications

- BS degree in Business or Management

- 10 years of customer service operations management experience

- An ability to integrate marketing, financial and engineering disciplines to bring about sales and to maximize business performance.

- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers across the organization such that they can be leveraged effectively as required on a business wide basis.

- An ability to assess markets and, as required, identify acquisition targets and manage appropriate aspects of acquisition planning and integration.

- 10 years of selling and/or management experience in Customer Service offers

- Experience in working with integrated teams comprised of systems providers, consultants and other professionals in the delivery of Customer Service projects.

- In-depth experience in project scheduling, cost analysis, contract terms development, technical scope development, contracting, cash flow analysis and other project related functions.

- Thorough understanding of internal and external economic factors (cost, margins, profit impact of decisions)

- Demonstrated verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients and the general public.

- Must be proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
