Supervisor Financial Accounting

Job Purpose Statement: Responsible for insuring the reliability and accuracy of the hourly payroll and accounts payable. Supervise payroll clerk and accounts payable clerk.

Reporting to: Factory Controller

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Primary Responsibilities:
-Supervise and direct the weekly payroll process from the accumulation of hourly payroll records through the distribution of paychecks.
-Review reports for accuracy. Correct problems and provide solutions.
-Analyze labor data weekly & monthly. Resolve outstanding issues.
-Reconciliation & resolution of Accounts Payable.
-Performing General ledger activities.
-Assist in Annual budget preparation.
-Reconciliation & resolution of Accounts Payable.
-Perform month-end close duties.
-Provide back-up support to Operations Accounting manager
-Follow good manufacturing practices and work safely.
-Additional tasks as necessary.

Position Requirements:
-B.S. in Accounting required
-2-3 years Supervisory or leadership experience required
-3-5 Years of Payroll Experience preferred
-SAP experience preferred
-Cost experience, materials and labor analysis preferred
-Exposure to purchasing preferred
