Job: Food Process Controls Engineer

Jobing Description

Performing all aspects of a typical Process Controls job from system design, cost estimating, project management, to on site system startup and commissioning.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge in specifying instrumentation for dairy and other food processes.

- Experience in instrument calibration and maintaining an instrument database.

- Experience with Process Control System design including, P&ID development, detail system design, motor circuit protection and panel layout.

- PLC Programming experience must include Allen-Bradley Control Logix and Siemens S7 PLC s. Typical programs include process control logic that includes batch systems, continuous flow systems and CIP.

- HMI programming experience must include Intouch, RS view, PanelView Plus, and WinCC

- Network design and development. The ability to design and implement networks to communicate between PLC's, HMI's and SCADA systems. As well as interface to plant information systems.

- Ability to perform onsite system checkout and start up at the job site location. Experience with directing electricians during the onsite start up phase.

- Project management skills required. The ability to perform work within the specified schedule and budgets.

- Ability to develop cost estimates for control systems.

- Good verbal and writing skills.
