Job Title: Inspector, Sr., NDT
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Overview: Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual. - Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating department standards. - Interface with suppliers / product line to disposition rejects. - Perform NDT inspections in compliance with customer work instructions, and AAR procedures and policies. - Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures. - Responsible for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Aircraft and Components. - Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by the employer.
Education/
Experience: - Required: Associate's degree (A.A.) from a two- year college or university; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS - Required: FAA A&P LIcense -Level II certification for one or more applicable NDT disciplines.
