Position Description:
Positions in this function develop and implement information security policies, standards and procedures to secure and protect data residing on systems. Work directly with user departments to implement procedures and systems for the protection, conservation and accountability of proprietary, personal or privileged electronic data.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Draft, implement, and review security policies and plans.
- Complete internal reviews of security practices.
- Assist in responding to corporate and external audits, requests for information, and security testing.
- Respond to incidents and issues. Draft reports, recommend resolutions.
- Review technologies for possible implementation.

Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience administering Microsoft and Linux/UNIX based operating systems
- 2+ years of experience working with network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, proxies, and/or intrusion prevention systems
- 2+ years of experience working within an Information Security role
- Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability management, and/or threat mitigation concepts and techniques
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of equivalent experience in a related field
Assets:
- Experience working under regulations including HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, GLB (Graham-Leach Bliley), and PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards)
- Experience with scripting languages (SQL, VB Script, Perl, Python, Power Shell, Batch Files) and automation capabilities
- Current Information Security certification, with priority given to CISSP, SSCP, GSEC, and Security+
