The Management Analyst I will be responsible for providing functional area support for the Army National Guard during the conversion of data from the legacy system into the new system. This includes assisting in all phases of implementation of new systems impacting payment of base pay, allowances, travel reimbursement, vendor pay and accounting as well as error resolution, internal controls and administration.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in providing plans and procedures for data cleansing of the legacy systems, determine data accuracy of the conversion data as well as develop plan to correct and conversion errors and metrics

Communicate with and gather data form SME s, manager, regulations, statues, policies and reference books to conduct analysis

Extract data from internal and external reports to create and present formal presentations

Compile information from internal databases to create reports, briefings and charts

Attend and participate in external and internal meetings with management

Collect and evaluate statistical data to prepare analytical reports

Update, write and review reports, newsletters and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for distribution

Develop syllabi/curriculum for training workshops, as well as presentations for workshops and conferences as well as maintain curriculum for training workshops

Communicate information to management for effective decision making and evaluation

Skill Set: In order to successfully meet the performance objectives of this contract the contractor employee should possess the following knowledge/skills:

Technical experience/training in the pay/accounting field.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Possess knowledge of Department of Defense, Department of the Army and National Guard Bureau forms and documents.

Ability to use the following software programs to perform requirements that use office automation; Windows XP including MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS-Excel, MS-Access.

Knowledge of Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation.

Travel: Required on occasion

Security Clearance: Public Trust
