Job Description :
Prepares detailed manufacturing process plans consistent with contract requirements to execute the fabrication of assigned hardware.

Aids in the implementation of the manufacturing process on the shop floor.

Duties are performed under the guidance of a more experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

Working with representatives from Quality Control, Production Planning, Welding Engineering, Design Engineering and the customer, analyzes contract requirements for incorporation into the manufacturing outlines and plans.

Assists Design Engineering and Graphic Design in the preparation of fabrication drawings to assure that designs are feasible from a fabrication standpoint.

Aids in the preparation of process deviations as required to maximize product performance in the program areas.

Issues VN's to resolve non-conforming conditions.

Prepares detailed process plans that include all necessary contract requirements and is in accordance with internal procedures.

Aids in the preparation of Sub-Contract Data Sheet information pertaining to operations, specifications and inspections to be followed by the outside vendor.

Prepares tooling requests, evaluates Cost Reduction suggestions and handles other software items necessary to manufacture hardware within NOG

Assumes responsibility of assigned product line in Program Team.

Helps to resolve issues that may halt production and takes responsibility to prevent recurrence.

Performs special assignments as deemed necessary by immediate supervisor.

Uses office automation tools as an aid to execute daily activities.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Professional Engineer's License or equivalent professional recognition in the manufacturing area.

Exposure to manufacturing processes such as welding, machining and fabrication, graphics and/or QA.
