Maybe you could be our new Quality Engineer responsible for creating end to end quality focused organization and providing needed hands-on input to get there.

As Quality Engineer, you will have a close working relationship within Loanhead team members and you will be reaching out to Danfoss international quality network. Thus, you communicate and implement proper execution of our global standards to make sure suppliers know our requirements and expectations. You ensure end-to-end quality in our products and production lines, so we expect that you are both structured and solution-oriented, so that you comply with processes and communicate on all levels with stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
You will:
  • drive the Supplier PPAP with claim handling process and ensure that quality specifications are still followed after supplier implement changes
  • support long term development of suppliers
  • drive incoming good-inspection processes and execute needed measurement levels
  • drive quality improvements in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework
  • ensure quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed
  • cooperate with customers in the problem-solving process
  • ensure fact-based data analysis so the organization is able to make the right priorities of quality projects

On a personal level, you have good problem-solving skills and you are action oriented. We are looking for a candidate with strong working knowledge skills and a high quality of decision making and decisiveness. You can act individually as well as a team member and you are resilient when facing challenges and able to work in a matrix environment.

You bring into the role:

  • Bachelors’ degree in a relevant manufacturing, engineering or other industrial discipline
  • Three to five years of experience in an ISO or IAFT approved manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge and formally trained in PFMEA, Control Plans SPC,
  • Cap Studies & 8Ds
  • Practical experience and knowledge with quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, Gage R&R,
  • Control Plans and continuous improvement tools
  • Experience in executing all steps of suppliers PPAP process
  • Hands on experience in measuring parts using CMM & MAR machines will be an advantage
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and out of the box thinking
  • Ideally experience with the quality standard TS 16949
  • Speak and write English fluently
