IU Health is looking for an Educator--Community Health who develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates community health education programs and prevention activities. This individual seeks and maintains productive partnerships with key stakeholders. The Educator will conducts hands-on education for groups and does public speaking.
This position is specific to HIV/sexual health education. The incumbent will partner with the community and work with various facilities such as treatment centers, homeless shelters, college campuses, social service agencies, etc.
This position is located in the Terre Haute office.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required.
- Current Indiana Driver's License, proof of insurance and a safe driving record required.
- Two years experience in health promotion programming preferred.
