Description
This position is responsible for various aspects of the Human Resource function for the manufacturing operation in Mooresville, IN and the distribution operations in Plainfield, IN. Primary accountabilities of this position are the implementation, coordination, administration and development of recruitment, screening and selection of new employees and open positions to be filled.

Requirements
1. Work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and maintain a marketing strategy to reach and attract a pool of qualified candidates.
2. Partner with managers/supervisors to understand and develop staffing needs and requirements including the development and maintenance of job descriptions.
3. Develop and maintain a thorough screening process to include, but not limited to: interviewing, testing, reference & background checks, pre-employment drug screening, etc.
4. Develop working relationships with local schools and other organizations to recruit local talent.
5. Facilitate the selection process with the hiring supervisor and the on-boarding process with the hiring supervisor and other HR partners.
6. Extend employment offers verbally, answer questions, follow up with candidates.
7. Partner with the training department to schedule orientation for new hires and process on-boarding through HRIS.
8. Coordinate with production supervisors to track and identify open positions.
9. Administer the internal job posting process and assist in the development of succession plans.
10. All other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws.
• 5-7 years of human resource, recruiting and/or staffing experience preferably supporting a manufacturing, technical and/or distribution client base.
• Professional public relations skills
• Excellent organizational skills
